funday sunday

Sweet cheeks is seven weeks today. We celebrated by returning to church after a six week absence. (The girls and I actually went the Sunday she was born because I wasn't POSITIVE my water had broke that morning. Found out the answer to that once we actually arrived at church.) J had not informed anyone that the new shoes we bought for dressier occasions were a little too large. After walking through the parking lot like she was wearing snow skis, I remembered we keep an extra set of "emergency" clothes for the kids in the car, socks included. She totally rocked these:
with these:
Good to get some fuel for my soul (even if I am hidden away like Quasimodo in the nursing room.)
We didn't end the celebration there. Had lunch at a yummy new place, Houlihans. This was the first dining experience for our party of five. The chefs welcomed this event by setting off the fire alarms! So glad we were sitting in the "quiet" back booth right next to, what I'll call, the sirens. With free meal vouchers in hand, we finished our lunch out doors. What amazing weather! Thank you God!
Our spectacle commenced and everyone was wiped out on the drive home. Everyone EXCEPT sugar lips. ;)
